Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Telemetry unit, you will provide direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Charge Nurse. Reporting to the Patient Care Services Director or Shift Manager, you will support a diverse patient population across multiple specialties and clinical areas.

Clinical Setting

The Telemetry unit is not limited to a single-organ subspecialty. You will care for patients across a wide range of specialties including medical, cardiac telemetry, surgical orthopedic, surgical obstetrics (non-postpartum), oncology (including chemotherapy), dialysis, and medical/surgical neuro patients. This role requires demonstrated competency and flexibility to adapt to the varied needs of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individualized care activities to patients
• Support the unit mission focused on patient-centered quality care and excellence in customer satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to meet patient care needs

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Night shift
• Holiday Rotation A

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Minimum of 6 months direct patient care experience in an acute or sub-acute unit
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer knowledge
• Current BLS certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or current enrollment in 2nd semester of nursing program at time of hire or transfer into position
