Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care and support to residents in a local healthcare setting in Camden, Maine. In this role, you will assist patients with daily activities, maintain their comfort and independence, and work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Take vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Uphold patients' rights and ensure dignity in all aspects of care
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification
- Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Professional and reliable demeanor
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 15-week contract
- Consistent local schedule
Compensation
- Competitive local pay: $650-$750 per week
