Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Missouri Veterans Home, you will provide direct care and support to veterans in accordance with individualized care plans. You will work alongside a dedicated nursing team in a long-term care setting serving the state's veteran population.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent veteran care and support according to individualized care plans
• Communicate and document observations regarding veterans' needs, preferences, and complaints to nursing staff
• Assist veterans with grooming, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, incontinent care, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, repositioning, transferring, ambulation, range of motion exercises, skin care, and other personal care needs
• Accurately perform and document vital signs, heights, and weights
• Walk and stand extensively, and stoop, bend, and lift as needed to provide quality care
• Work overtime as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid certified nursing assistant certification

Schedule and Shifts

• Day shift, evening shift, and night shift positions available
• Weekend shift differential available
• Overtime as needed

Compensation

• Day shift: $18.35 - $18.69 per hour
• Evening and night shift: $20.35 - $20.69 per hour
• Additional weekend shift differential available
