Job Description

The Gardens at Orangeville, a skilled nursing facility in Orangeville, PA, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct nursing care to residents. As a CNA, you will coordinate the delivery of care, monitor and evaluate outcomes of practice and standards of care, and work in a self-directed manner under the direction of the Charge Nurse.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a skilled nursing facility caring for residents with diverse clinical needs, including those requiring therapeutic care, neurological and dementia care, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease management, and wound care.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicable
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures while ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
  • Act appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with the established Care Plan
  • Ensure residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan
  • Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan

Required Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program and required examination
  • Documentation of certification upon application

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Schedule

  • PRN (as needed) shifts only

Compensation

  • Pay rate: $23.00 per hour
