Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN Nights | Dallas Rehab

PAM Health Dallas is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital this fall and is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team on a PRN night shift basis. As a CNA, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the CNA position, which does not include administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities consistent with CNA scope of practice
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the supervision of nursing staff
• Perform related duties as assigned or requested
• Maintain compliance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a newly opening rehabilitation hospital.

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) nights
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification
• CNA certification as required by Texas state regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
