Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN Days | Richardson Rehab

PAM Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a PRN days position at Richardson Rehab. In this role, you will perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will work within the scope of the CNA position, which does not include administering medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

Clinical Setting

This position is based at a rehabilitation hospital within PAM Health's network of specialty healthcare providers. PAM Health operates more than 80 locations across 17 states, including rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing units, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the CNA position
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Work under the general supervision of nursing staff
• Perform duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Complete other related duties as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) days position
