Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN

Avante at Boca Raton is seeking PRN Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel to assist residents with activities of daily living and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing, meeting all applicable federal and state certification requirements
• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow oral commands in English
• Completion of an appropriate CNA training course or equivalent experience
• Eligibility for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement
• Pass background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

• Positive attitude toward elderly patients

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) position with daily pay available
