Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Point Lookout Nursing & Rehab in Hollister, Missouri is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide direct care support to residents in our nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, turning, ambulating, and providing fluids and nourishment throughout the shift
• Help residents with personal hygiene and grooming
• Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document resident food and fluid intake
• Assist residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Make resident beds and maintain clean, tidy living areas
• Transport residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
• Abide by all federal, state, and local requirements and standards

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions
• Physical strength and stamina
