Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PM SHIFT

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the PM shift. In this role, you will provide direct personal care to residents in a sub-acute setting under the supervision of licensed and registered nurses. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, maintain a clean and healthy environment, and respond promptly to resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for residents under the supervision of a licensed or registered nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs
• Perform and document patient rounds and report any changes in resident condition
• Use proper body mechanics when lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, and similar transfers
• Transport residents to dining areas for meals and activities
• Provide companionship and excellent care to patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Prioritize patient and resident activities based on current care needs
• Demonstrate organizational skills to keep the unit running smoothly
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with successful completion of a CNA program
• Minimum one year of sub-acute experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster doses
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Good physical health to lift and move patients and stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Compensation

• $22 per hour

Pay may vary based on factors including location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
