Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part Time - Overnight (NOC) Shift. Eventide on Eighth!

Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN is hiring part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for overnight shifts. This position provides direct resident care in a long-term care setting, supporting residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under the supervision of nursing staff.

Schedule

• Overnight shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Part-time position with set two-week schedule
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation (24 hours per pay period)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to residents to help maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing
• Carry and follow assigned resident care plans at all times
• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion exercises as indicated on care plans
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services with warmth and compassion
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to protect residents, others, property, and yourself
• Comply with regulations set forth by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
• Understand and uphold all aspects of residents' rights, including freedom from restraints, abuse, and neglect; promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or rights violations
• Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment
• Promptly answer residents' call lights and alarms
• Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, recording resident weights, and applying lotions as needed
• Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate techniques including gait belt, one-person transfer, two-person transfer, Hoyer lift, and standing lift as identified by care plan
• Assist and escort residents to appointments and activities as needed
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures including hand washing, use of gloves, and disposal of soiled materials
• Assist with resident personal laundry as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

Compensation

• Estimated hourly pay range: $22.60 to $25.31 based on qualifications, experience, and location
• $2 per hour evening and overnight shift differential
• $2 per hour weekend differential
• Shift premiums and differentials paid based on employment status and shift worked
