Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for night shift work. In this role, you will provide direct care to elderly patients and those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents in an in-home care setting. You will support clients with activities of daily living, mobility, meal preparation, and personal hygiene while maintaining a compassionate, one-on-one care approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating support
• Help clients take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation
• Support mobility around the house and to outside appointments such as doctor visits and walks
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client shopping or accompany clients to do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Assist patients with meals and other activities essential for daily living

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation available every day
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Hoyer Lift experience specific to client needs
