Mason Pointe is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate, person-centered environment. You will work the night shift as a full-time member of an interdisciplinary team, assisting residents with activities of daily living and helping maintain their dignity and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Maintain residents' comfort and provide physical care with activities of daily living according to scope of practice
- Answer resident call lights and requests promptly
- Report observations of residents' conditions and changing needs to the nurse
- Handle residents' personal care needs in a timely manner while encouraging independence
- Observe residents closely to identify changing needs and conditions
- Actively participate in residents' care and service plans
- Assist residents during mealtimes and provide full feeding assistance when needed
- Create and maintain meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Support residents' involvement in decision-making regarding their daily activities
- Assist with residents' therapies and treatments under the direction of licensed staff
- Document care provided in clinical records
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Missouri, Illinois, or Pennsylvania)
- For Pennsylvania: Enrollment or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of a Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation program on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
- Ability to communicate with residents
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 45 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with direct patient or resident care

You will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch and handle objects, and talk and hear. You will frequently sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You may occasionally climb, balance, taste, or smell. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 45 lbs.
Working Conditions
You will work in a well-lighted, ventilated area with temperature control. The role involves exposure to emotionally upset residents or family members, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and infectious waste and diseases including AIDS and Hepatitis B virus within standard precautions guidelines. You must be willing to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. Appropriate ergonomic and personal safety equipment will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Grade 09: $16.20/hour to $25.15/hour
- Night shift differential: $1.00/hour (Illinois and Missouri; may vary in other states)
- Weekend differential: $1.00/hour (Illinois and Missouri; may vary in other states)
