Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, or sub-acute setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside nursing, therapy, and medical staff to support patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, as well as those requiring ongoing skilled support. Our patient population includes individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct daily nursing care to assigned patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, and other personal care tasks
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as directed by nursing staff
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients and families

Clinical Setting

Life Care Centers of America operates skilled nursing facilities providing long-term care, short-term sub-acute rehabilitation, and collaborative interdisciplinary care. Patient populations vary slightly by facility but include individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute care needs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered or licensed as a CNA in your applicable state; must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience

Schedule and Shifts

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day, evening, and night (NOC) shifts available
• Evening and night shift differential: $2.00 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

• Wage range: $23.00 to $28.60 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $2,500
