Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Heart Care Unit - .9 FTE 12 Hour NOC

ProHealth Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Heart Care Unit, a 31-bed intermediate care unit providing specialized support to patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, post-open heart surgery, cardiac procedures, stroke, and other medical conditions. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a dynamic team known for excellent patient satisfaction, strong clinical outcomes, and collaborative relationships between nurses and CNAs.

Clinical Setting

The Heart Care Unit combines technical cardiac care with a focus on patient outcomes and team-based support. You will work alongside experienced nursing staff in an environment that emphasizes orientation, skill development, and professional growth for CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients on the unit
• Work independently providing resource information and general nursing care
• Complete clerical tasks related to regulatory requirements, audits, and patient processes
• Support nursing staff and contribute to unit operations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification—active or expired on registry
• Strong interest in customer service
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule

• 0.9 FTE position committing to 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (nights, 3rd shift)
• Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation
• This is not a seasonal or temporary position
