Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Certified Nursing Assistants provide direct personal care and assistance to residents in assisted living and long-term care facilities. You will help residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and bathing, while working under the direction of nursing staff.

Clinical Setting

Multiple positions are available across different settings and shifts:

• Assisted Living: Evenings (Full-time), Nights (Full-time or Part-time)
• Long Term Care: Days (Part-time), Evenings (Full-time or Part-time), Nights (Full-time)

Medication Aide candidates are also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the care team and maintain a physical, social, and psychological environment that supports residents' welfare and best interests
• Observe and report resident conditions, changes, incidents, and unusual findings to nursing staff or supervisors
• Become familiar with each resident's daily needs, preferences, and care plan to personalize care delivery
• Record resident care information accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to resident call lights promptly and address resident needs in a service-minded manner
• Assist residents with transfers from bed, chair, wheelchair, and toilet using appropriate equipment, body mechanics, and safety principles
• Help restore resident independence through teaching and encouragement in activities of daily living
• Develop rapport with residents and assist with personal belongings and environmental preferences
• Create a positive atmosphere aligned with facility core values
• Follow instructions, complete daily assignments, and proactively adapt to changes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years
• Successful completion of a 75-hour Nurse Aide course

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• CPR Certification
