Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Harborside Health & Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and sub-acute care setting. You will work under the direction of licensed nurse supervisors, performing basic nursing procedures and assisting with resident care activities.

Clinical Setting

This position is located in a skilled nursing and sub-acute care facility. You will work as part of a team-driven environment focused on meeting each resident's unique needs and supporting their path to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of nursing assistant responsibilities
• Perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor
• Communicate effectively with residents and nursing staff
• Support optimal staff-to-patient ratios and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment

Required Qualifications

• Active DC CNA license (name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing)
• Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff
• Ability to read and write
• This is a safety-sensitive designated position

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Nurse Aide

Schedule and Shifts

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Full-Time Shifts:

• Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Part-Time Shifts:

• Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $20.61 to $30.62 (plus shift differentials as applicable)
• Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 (limited time)
