Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-time, Day Shift

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a central role in providing compassionate, direct patient care during vulnerable moments in patients' recovery journeys.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care services including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience of 3 or more years
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as medical assistant or actively enrolled RN student

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift position
• Weekend shift differential available

• Hourly rate: $16.73 - $22.50
