Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Full time, 6AM-2PM

Park Place of Elmhurst is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident and nursing care in a continuing care community. You will work the 6AM-2PM shift supporting residents across assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support services. This role involves direct patient care, documentation, and collaboration with the nursing team to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.

Clinical Setting

Park Place of Elmhurst is a continuing care community offering a full continuum of services including assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support on a single campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the admissions process and greet residents and family members
• Assist residents with toileting, bathing, and daily grooming
• Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for residents
• Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory
• Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty
• Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered
• Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed
• Provide resident and nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observations and care
• Perform all functions in compliance with CDC, OSHA, JCAHO, State and Federal Regulatory bodies
• Communicate and interpret the goals of care to the resident and family/caregiver

Required Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in long-term care
