Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time 2nd Shift

Smith Village is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM) to provide direct care and support to residents in our senior living community. In this role, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, maintain their comfort and hygiene, and contribute to their overall well-being while working as part of our nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform tasks to maintain resident hygiene, grooming, comfort, and overall well-being
• Chart all care provided and supplies used in the electronic medical records system
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a senior living community providing long-term care services.

Required Qualifications

• IDPH Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current CPR certification
• Good computer skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term care experience

Schedule

Full-time position working the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. PRN (as-needed) shifts are also available for day shift (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM), PM shift (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM), and night shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM).

Compensation

Pay starts at $21 per hour, based on experience. Additional pay differentials include $2 per hour for PM or night shifts and an additional 10% weekend differential for all shifts.
