Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Fair Havens Center in Miami Springs, Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support to residents. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Transfer patients to and from bed, chair, or wheelchair
• Monitor and report on patient vital signs and overall condition
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and incontinence care as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and interactions
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with assistance as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
