The Pearl at Kruse Way in Lake Oswego is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents on the evening shift. You will work as part of a nursing team in a residential care setting, supporting residents with their personal care needs and helping them maintain comfort and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are being met according to their preferences
- Review resident care plans daily to identify any changes in daily care routines
- Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in resident condition so appropriate information can be entered into care plans
- Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs
- Transport residents to and from appointments
- Prepare and maintain residents' rooms to ensure comfort
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, patience, and enthusiasm
- Effectively communicate resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and administration
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
Schedule
- Evening shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
- Full-time position
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade education or above)
- Current state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Active CPR/BLS certification, which must be maintained throughout employment
