The opportunity

Job Description

Join The Pearl at Kruse Way in Lake Oswego as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing direct daily care to residents. You will work the evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, in a full-time position.

Clinical Setting

The Pearl at Kruse Way is a residential care community located at 4550 Carman Drive, Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035.

Responsibilities

  • Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are being met according to their preferences
  • Review resident care plans daily to identify any changes in daily care routines
  • Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in resident condition so appropriate information can be entered on the care plan
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs
  • Transport residents to and from appointments
  • Prepare and maintain residents' rooms to ensure comfort
  • Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, and enthusiasm while fostering a calm and cheerful environment
  • Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and administrator
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade education or above)
  • Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant license
  • Active CPR/BLS certification, which must be maintained throughout employment

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Evening shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
