The opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. In this role, you will provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and helping maintain their comfort and dignity. You will work closely with residents, families, and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, attentive care.

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility where you will care for residents requiring assistance with activities of daily living and basic medical support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, hydration, and between-meal nourishment
  • Help residents with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers
  • Assist with dressing, turning, and patient mobility
  • Provide additional care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
  • Check and record vital signs and maintain daily information in residents' charts

Schedule

This is a 12-hour rotating shift position working 6am-6pm with 3-4 days off per week.

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment
