Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - CVICU

Join Delray Medical Center's Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the night shift. In this per diem role, you will provide essential patient care support under the direction of RNs and LPNs, assisting with direct patient care activities and gathering information to support the nursing team's implementation of patient care plans.

Clinical Setting

Delray Medical Center is a 536-bed acute care hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center serving southern Palm Beach County. The facility offers specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular care, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care, and other specialized programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and LPNs with direct patient care activities
• Provide comfort and support to patients in the CVICU
• Gather patient information to support nursing care implementation
• Support patients during their healthcare journey

Schedule

• Night shift
• Per diem employment type

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Florida CNA license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in acute care settings
• Prior patient care experience
• Formal Certified Nurse's Aide training
