As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
- Document care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting
- Current CPR certification

- Hourly pay range: $14.60 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience
