As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of those in your care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
  • Document care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting
  • Current CPR certification
