Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in our long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings. In this role, you will support patients' comfort and independence while working closely with nursing supervisors and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials
• Transport patients safely
• Answer patients' call lights and requests promptly
• Report observations and patient concerns to nursing supervisors
• Complete forms, reports, logs, and records accurately

Clinical Setting

• Long-term care facilities
• Nursing homes
• Rehabilitation centers

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing in the state of employment
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program
• Completion of company-required orientation
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
• Clearance from criminal background check
• Satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire
• Familiarity with and compliance to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geriatric patients

Schedule

• 6 AM - 6 PM
• 6 AM - 2 PM
• 2 PM - 10 PM
• 10 PM - 6 AM
