Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Bloomfield West is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents at our 59-bed Intermediate Care Facility in Lynwood, California. We serve individuals with intellectual disabilities and related conditions. This position offers flexibility with part-time, on-call, and full-time opportunities available.

Clinical Setting

Bloomfield West is a Medicaid-certified Intermediate Care Facility specializing in care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and related conditions. The facility has been operating since 1988 and is committed to promoting resident independence and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor
• Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations

Schedule and Shifts

Part-time and on-call positions are available. Full-time opportunities are available on the PM shift (3 PM to 11 PM) and NOC shift (11 PM to 7 AM).

Required Qualifications

• Current California nursing assistant certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR and first aid certifications

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $20 to $21
