Bedford Springs Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in our long-term care setting. This is a weekday, day shift position in a close-knit community environment.
Clinical Setting
Bedford Springs Health and Rehab is a long-term care facility nestled in a peaceful countryside setting. The facility maintains a supportive team environment focused on providing quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management
- Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff
- Assist the nurse with various duties as directed
Required Qualifications
- Current state certification as a CNA
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting
