Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

ATC Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care services in various healthcare settings. As a CNA, you will work under the direction of licensed professionals to meet patients' personal care needs across different age groups and patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to patients as assigned
• Take vital signs and document according to facility protocols
• Record patient input and output as assigned
• Follow the patient's plan of care as directed
• Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel
• Maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA
• Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness
• Comply with ATC policies and procedures as well as client facility nursing policies and procedures
• Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meeting state-specific requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Clinical Setting

You will work in various client facility settings with possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program that meets state regulations
• Unrestricted CNA certification meeting state-specific requirements
• At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting
• Current CPR certification as required by client facility
• Other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies

Compensation and Benefits
