Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 7am to 7pm

Tulsa Nursing Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our long-term and rehabilitative care team. In this role, you will work 8-hour shifts providing direct personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort consistent with facility policy
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of resident status at the beginning and end of each shift
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure
• Observe and report on residents' conditions and document observations as required
• Comply with safe lifting and safe transfer procedures per established policies
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required
• Ensure that equipment is clean and functional
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting

Schedule

• 7am to 7pm shift
• 8-hour shifts
