Certified Nursing Assistant CNA 2000 Bonus

Valley View Village, a senior living community, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide direct care to residents in a long-term care setting. As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while working closely with nurses and team members to deliver person-centered care to older adults.

Clinical Setting

Valley View Village is a continuum of care campus located on 16 acres. The community has received recognition for infection control excellence and customer experience awards.

Responsibilities

• Report to the supervising nurse about any changes in residents' conditions or behavior
• Assist residents with toileting and bathroom needs
• Help residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with resident mobility and transfers
• Respond to resident call buttons
• Provide residents with drinks and snacks
• Change bedding and help residents change into clean clothing
• Converse with and comfort residents

Schedule

• Full-time, benefits-eligible position
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Compensation and Bonus

• Competitive pay with experience-based raises
• $2,000 bonus for evening shift positions

Required Qualifications

• Current Iowa Nursing Assistant certification
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff
