In this role, you will deliver personalized care to residents in a long-term care setting, helping them regain strength, confidence, and independence while working within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents, promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and standards
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) in the state of Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college or specialized training
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly rate: $16.00 - $18.54
