Certified Nursing Assistant

Avir at Comanche, a leading provider of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services in Texas, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. In this role, you will deliver personalized care to residents in a long-term care setting, helping them regain strength, confidence, and independence while working within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents, promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and standards

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) in the state of Texas
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or specialized training

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly rate: $16.00 - $18.54
