Certified Nursing Assistant ATRMC (Cardiac Center)

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center's Cardiac Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the patient care team. In this on-call position, you will work variable day shifts supporting cardiac patients under the supervision and direction of the RN.

Responsibilities

• Become a vital member of the patient care team and build strong relationships with CNAs and RNs
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards
• Provide excellent communication between staff, patients, and patient families
• Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values

Clinical Setting

This position is located in the Cardiac Center at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. The role is on-site and on-call.

Schedule

• Variable schedule days
• On-call basis
• Shift differentials: $1.21/hr for 3:00pm-11:00pm; $2.05/hr for 11:01pm-7:00am; $1.05/hr extra for weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, such as transferring patients in and out of bed
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and perform other awkward physical movements

Required Qualifications

• CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $19.27 - $26.50 depending on qualifications
