LBU Community Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered women's healthcare. In this role, you will conduct patient exams, manage ongoing care, coordinate timely follow-ups, and make appropriate specialist referrals. You will work across multiple Dallas clinic locations to serve the community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive women's health exams and assessments
  • Manage ongoing patient care and coordinate follow-up appointments
  • Make appropriate specialist referrals based on clinical findings
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record (EHR) documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
  • Identify and report risk-management concerns
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Support clinic operations and contribute to a safe, efficient patient experience
  • Stay current with required education, trainings, and professional standards
  • Maintain current immunizations and testing as required

Required Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing or Certified Nurse Midwife program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
  • Active Texas RN/NP license
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)

  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel between multiple Dallas clinic locations
