Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) Home Health Aides (HHA) in Lake Nona, FL

Right at Home is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide non-skilled home care services to seniors and disabled adults in the Lake Nona area and surrounding communities. In this role, you will help clients remain living independently in their own homes by providing personal care, homemaking services, and patient-specific activities under the direction of a nurse.

Clinical Setting

You will work in clients' private homes throughout Lake Nona, Meadow Woods, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Poinciana, Reunion, Championsgate, Celebration, and Four Corners. This is a one-location position requiring a reliable car and active car insurance for travel between client homes.

Responsibilities

Personal Care and Activities of Daily Living:

• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, and grooming
• Help with dressing and shaving
• Assist with ambulation and mobility
• Support eating and meal preparation
• Provide incontinence care

Homemaking Services:

• Prepare meals and snacks according to client instructions
• Perform light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms
• Change bed linens and do laundry
• Wash dishes

Patient-Specific Activities:

• Assist with ostomy appliance changes
• Reinforce dressings
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Measure and prepare special diets
• Take vital signs

Additional Duties:

• Accompany clients on errands and medical appointments
• Perform patient-specific activities as taught by Right at Home nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid HHA Certificate or current CNA License
• Current CPR Certificate
• Valid Driver License
• Reliable car with active car insurance
• Level II Background Check (Florida)
• Negative pre-employment drug screening result

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of home health care experience

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available. Schedules include 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
