The opportunity
Job Description
BrightCare HomeCare is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Aide Home Health Aide to provide direct personal care services to clients in their homes throughout the Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Mandeville Louisiana areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and incontinence care
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the supervising RN or LPN
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients, promoting independence and dignity
- Perform various light housekeeping duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Louisiana
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
