Bilingual (Spanish) Nurse Practitioner - Virtual Health Assessment

Oscar Medical Group is hiring fluent Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioners to join our remote Virtual Health Assessment team. In this role, you will conduct virtual evaluation and management visits with Oscar Health Insurance members, utilizing remote diagnostic tools, home monitoring equipment, and virtual exam capabilities. You may also be cross-trained to support other teams including Virtual Urgent Care. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors to provide comprehensive patient care.

Clinical Setting

This is a fully remote position. While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
• Use tooling to allow virtual exams including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, and remote point of care diagnostics
• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors where applicable
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing, and regular service line all-hands meetings
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
• Board certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
• 3 or more years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
• 2 or more years of experience delivering virtual care
• Active Florida license (required)
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar states
• Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Active license in Texas, Ohio, or New Jersey
• Compact RN license (if an APRN)
• Experience working with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools
• Ability and willingness to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states

Work Location and Schedule

This position is remote and open to candidates residing in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.

Full-time schedules are available across 4-day (10-hour) and 5-day (8-hour) options, with day, mid-day, and evening shifts available ranging from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Specific shift choices and lunch breaks will be selected during the application process.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay for this role is $116,400 to $145,500 per year. Final offer amounts within this range are determined by relevant skills, education, and experience.
