Bilingual Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare's Visiting Licensed Practical Nurse program provides short- and long-term home care services for patients covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay. You will deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes to diverse populations across all ages, including patients with chronic conditions, behavioral health needs, and therapy requirements. Services include skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and home health aide support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders under the direction of a Registered Nurse teammate
• Perform hands-on client care including documentation and timely communication with the client's physician and other caregivers
• Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention, and implement care to prevent or reduce risk
• Educate clients and family members based on the client's specific needs
• Provide care using a variety of skills including phone triage, patient education, observation and assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes

Required Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of application
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component, or ability to obtain one
• Current TB test
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Medicare skilled nursing experience
• One year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Days, nights, and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability
• Pay is per visit at $30-38 per hour based on the pay point model
