Bayonne, Registered Nurse Emergency Room

This full-time night shift position offers the opportunity to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. You will care for a diverse patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, working with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting
• Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately upon arrival
• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and factors influencing patient flow
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Demonstrate proficiency with Emergency Department-specific equipment
• Coordinate care planning with other clinical disciplines

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or ENPC certification within 1 year of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• Full-time, night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotational weekend schedule including Saturday and Sunday
