Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN - Feeding Tube School Case (New Patient)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a new private duty nursing case in Harrisonburg. This is a Monday-Friday position working 11:30 AM to 7:15 PM with a school-age child who requires feeding tube care and has a diagnosis of Syngap1 with behavioral issues. This is a low-acuity case.

Clinical Setting

• Private duty home nursing
• School-age patient population
• Low-acuity case involving g-tube management, Syngap1 diagnosis, and behavioral support

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 11:30 AM to 7:15 PM
• Full-time, part-time, or PRN employment options available

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Virginia (or compact license that can be transferred to Virginia within 90 days)
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation
• Compliance with all health-related requirements in relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
