Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Days- School Case- Low Acuity

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for private duty nursing in a school setting. This is a Monday through Friday position (7am-7pm) providing care to a teenager attending high school in the 75115 area. The patient requires feeding tube management and medication administration.

Clinical Setting

• Private duty home and school-based nursing
• Patient population: Teenager attending high school
• Acuity level: Low acuity with feeding tube and medication administration

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm
• Patient attends high school during the day
• Flexible scheduling options available: full-time, part-time, or PRN
• Days, nights, and weekend shifts can be accommodated based on availability

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component (Aveanna can assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary)
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation
• Compliance with all health-related requirements in relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
