Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LPN - Trach Teenager (Overnights/School Case)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for private duty nursing care of a teenager with a tracheostomy. This is an overnight and school-based case requiring the nurse to attend school with the patient on Thursdays and Fridays.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Thursday through Saturday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Location: Northside, Jacksonville (32218)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a teenager with tracheostomy
• Attend school with patient on Thursdays and Fridays
• Perform electronic documentation using tablet provided in patient's home
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Florida (compact licenses must be transferred to Florida within 90 days)
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
