Job Description
The Associate Operating Room Assistant supports the professional staff in operating suites at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment that facilitates patient-focused care. You will handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate operating rooms and equipment, operate and perform routine maintenance on technical equipment, and restock supplies.
Schedule
- Full-time position, 1.0 FTE
- Night shift
- 40 hours per week
- Onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center
Responsibilities
- Assist with general support of professional staff in operating suites
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment
- Handle equipment and supplies
- Clean and decontaminate operating rooms and equipment
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on technical equipment
