Ecumen, a leading nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. In this part-time role, you will administer medications and treatments, coordinate resident care, maintain documentation, and provide clinical direction to nursing assistants and other support staff under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or Clinical Director.
Clinical Setting
You will work in an assisted living and memory care environment, providing care to older adults in a compassionate, person-centered setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and complete treatments as ordered by physicians
- Observe and monitor residents' conditions and report changes appropriately
- Ensure all physicians' orders are signed and implemented within specified timeframes
- Assist the Registered Nurse with assessments, documentation, and data collection
- Coordinate care and services with other departments and providers from admission through discharge
- Provide direction and coordination of care to Nursing Assistants, Resident Assistants, Trained Medication Assistants, and other clinical staff
- Maintain safety for all residents and team members, respond to safety hazards, and report issues appropriately
- Ensure all staff follow infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and efficiently organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing for the Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Current LPN licensure in the state in which you are working
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures including Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precautions, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to Know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, and Fair Housing laws and regulations

- Previous experience providing senior care or working in a healthcare setting
Schedule
- Part-time, 32 hours per 2 weeks
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Every other weekend rotation
Compensation and Benefits
- Targeted pay range: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education)
