Anesthesia Technician - Operating Room F/T

Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance is seeking a full-time Anesthesia Technician for the Operating Room. This position works from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and is responsible for coordinating and managing anesthesia department activities in surgical and obstetric suites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage activities related to the anesthesia department
• Maintain anesthesia machines and equipment
• Set up operating rooms with required anesthesia and physiologic monitoring equipment in preparation for anesthesia procedures
• Remove and clean equipment at the end of procedures
• Restock anesthesia supplies for subsequent use

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
• Operating room experience and knowledge of OR equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience as an anesthesia technician
• Completion of certification from a Certified Anesthesia program
