Aesthetic Registered Nurse PT

Skin Laundry is seeking a Part-time Aesthetic Registered Nurse to join our medical-grade skincare clinic in Burlingame, CA. In this role, you will partner with the clinic team to provide clients with advanced facial treatments using medical-grade technologies and customized skincare recommendations. You will present and promote laser facials tailored to each client's needs, discuss skincare protocols, and celebrate client results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Clinical Setting

This is a high-volume, medical-grade skincare clinic specializing in advanced facial treatments. You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering excellent client experiences and supporting clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Present and promote customized no-downtime laser facials suited to clients' personal skincare needs, ensuring treatments are safe and effective for all skin types
• Discuss the importance of skincare protocols created by the medical team
• Celebrate and communicate client results
• Support clinic success by improving efficiency and accuracy in all processes and procedures
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing staff members
• Establish adequate staffing to ensure timely client visits
• Maintain effective client retention processes
• Partner with the clinic team to provide a people-oriented, enjoyable, and inclusive workplace
• Respect and support team members' individuality and provide an inclusive environment
• Support the team in meeting personal and clinic goals

Required Qualifications

• Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an accredited association
• Clinically competent, professional, and compassionate
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to problem-solve
• Outgoing personality with a calming presence that makes clients comfortable
• Attentive listening skills and ability to read clients to ensure high standards are met
• Attention to detail in following company protocol and goal-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize client safety and customer service and make clinical decisions, knowing when to ask for assistance
• Reliable ability to commute to the home clinic location and periodically travel to other clinics for coverage as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Two years of experience in skincare, aesthetics, or customer service

Education

• Associate degree or higher

Schedule

This is a part-time position with the following requirements:

• You will be scheduled for 11 hours, working 10 hours after breaks
• Minimum commitment of 1 day per week, with flexibility to work 2 days and occasionally a 3rd shift as needed
• Must commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance
• Shift options include:
• Friday and Saturday, plus one weekday (Monday-Thursday)
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday
• Must be available during clinic operating hours as posted on the website (subject to change)
• Sundays may be required for occasional training or if clinic expands operating hours

Physical Requirements

• Long periods of sitting and standing
• Lifting and moving inventory and other clinic assets

Compensation

• Base rate: $28 per hour plus tips and commission
• Guaranteed rate: $55 per hour
