LA ViE MD is a physician-led medical spa with three locations seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join the team at the Livermore office. In this part-time role, you will perform a variety of aesthetic and cosmetic medical treatments while delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Clinical Setting
LA ViE MD is a medical spa offering cosmetic and aesthetic treatments. You will work in a fast-growing practice that emphasizes staying current with the newest technology and treatment modalities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of cosmetic medical treatments, including lasers, neuromodulators (Botox, Daxxify, Dysport), dermal fillers, body contouring (Emsculpt Neo), and hair restoration therapies (PRP, Exosome Therapy)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Greet patients warmly, escort them to treatment rooms, and address concerns with empathy and patience
- Educate patients on expected results using a consultative approach while ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations
- Build trust with patients by understanding their needs and recommending services aligned with their goals and budget
- Provide clear guidance on procedures, aftercare, discomfort, and expected outcomes to build loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Call clients after visits to ensure understanding of post-care instructions, confirm satisfaction, increase client reviews, and schedule follow-up appointments
- Document visits and scribe during appointments using the EMR system
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely medical records
- Create engaging social media content that increases business and aligns with the LA ViE MD brand
- Keep treatment rooms organized, clean, and well-stocked to maintain a premium, professional environment
- Assist the physician and nursing team during cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures
- Arrive 15 minutes early to all scheduled office hours
- Participate in continuing education and training
Required Qualifications
- Active RN, NP, or PA license
- Minimum 5+ years of experience injecting neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Experience with various brands of injectables and willingness to learn different injectables and techniques
- Ability to build and maintain a busy schedule through personal outbound efforts and social media engagement rather than relying solely on corporate marketing
- Organized and efficient approach to scheduling and time management
- Dependable, punctual, and able to provide professional references
- Willingness to learn and participate in continuing education and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of technical and anatomical trends for aesthetic treatments
- General curiosity about skincare and cosmetic treatments
- Naturally skilled at building connections with others through social awareness and remembering patient details
- Positive energy and optimism when facing challenges
Schedule
Part-time position, approximately 13-22 hours per week. Minimum 15+ hours per week required. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Availability preferences and restrictions will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly, non-exempt position with pay range of $60-$110+ per hour, combining hourly income and productivity-based incentives
- Productivity is based on schedule fullness and directly related to ability to gain new clients and book repeat clients
