Aesthetic Nurse / Body Contouring Specialist

The DRIPBaR Edina is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide non-invasive aesthetic skin-tightening and body-contouring treatments in a growing wellness clinic. This role combines clinical nursing expertise with client education and relationship-building to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals through advanced technology-based treatments.

Clinical Setting

The DRIPBaR Edina is a locally owned health and wellness clinic offering IV vitamin therapy, hydration, vitamin injections, NAD+, red light therapy, infrared sauna, and other wellness services. The aesthetics division is expanding to include non-invasive aesthetic treatments that complement the clinic's focus on wellness, confidence, and healthy aging.

Responsibilities

Aesthetic Treatments and Client Care

• Perform non-invasive skin-tightening and body-contouring treatments using clinic-approved technology
• Conduct client consultations and assessments according to established medical protocols
• Review medical history, medications, contraindications, treatment areas, and aesthetic goals
• Obtain and document appropriate informed consent
• Develop treatment recommendations based on established protocols and individual client goals
• Take standardized before-and-after photographs and measurements when appropriate
• Monitor client comfort, skin response, and treatment parameters throughout each procedure
• Recognize contraindications, adverse reactions, or situations requiring consultation with the supervising medical provider
• Provide appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the clinic's electronic medical record

Client Education and Experience

• Clearly explain how treatments work, expected results, treatment frequency, and realistic outcomes
• Help clients understand that aesthetic results vary and multiple treatments may be recommended
• Create a welcoming, professional, and judgment-free client experience
• Build long-term relationships with clients and follow their progress throughout their treatment series
• Conduct follow-up assessments and document treatment outcomes

Sales and Business Development

• Educate clients about treatment packages and complementary services offered by The DRIPBaR
• Confidently recommend appropriate treatment plans without using high-pressure sales tactics
• Help convert consultations into treatment packages and repeat clients
• Participate in clinic promotions, open houses, demonstrations, community events, and educational opportunities
• Assist with before-and-after content and social media when appropriate and with client authorization
• Help grow the aesthetics division through exceptional results, client retention, referrals, and relationship-building

Equipment and Safety

• Complete all required manufacturer and clinic training before independently operating aesthetic equipment
• Operate equipment strictly according to manufacturer instructions, clinical protocols, applicable laws, and medical oversight requirements
• Perform required equipment safety checks and maintain treatment-room cleanliness
• Follow infection-control, sanitation, and client-safety procedures
• Immediately report equipment concerns, adverse events, burns, unexpected skin reactions, or other safety issues
• Maintain competency through continuing education and periodic skills validation

Additional Opportunities

Because The DRIPBaR is a growing wellness clinic, opportunities may exist for appropriately trained and credentialed RNs to cross-train in other services, including IV vitamin therapy, hydration therapy, vitamin injections, red light therapy, and other wellness services offered by the clinic.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and client-education skills
• Comfortable discussing aesthetic goals, treatment plans, pricing, and packages with clients
• Ability and willingness to complete required aesthetic-device training
• Strong attention to safety, protocols, and detail
• Professional, dependable, personable, and comfortable working independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, med spa, wellness, or cosmetic nursing
• Previous experience with body-contouring, skin-tightening, radiofrequency, laser, light-based, ultrasound, vacuum, or similar aesthetic technologies
• Experience conducting aesthetic consultations and selling treatment packages
• Interest in health, wellness, preventative care, and healthy aging

Schedule and Employment

• Location: The DRIPBaR Edina, Edina, Minnesota
• Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, Weekday
• Compensation: Hourly rate plus commission

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, move and position treatment equipment, assist clients with positioning, and repeatedly perform treatments involving hand and arm movement.
