Aesthetic Injector (Nurse Practitioner)

As an Aesthetic Injector, you will deliver exceptional aesthetic outcomes while providing compassionate care to clients seeking non-surgical aesthetic enhancements. This position involves administering various aesthetic procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will combine clinical expertise with artistic sensibility to achieve optimal results for each client.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will work across Newport and Wakefield locations, providing direct patient care under physician supervision as necessary. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care

• Provide direct patient care adhering to authorized practice guidelines and state laws
• Conduct new patient intakes, reviewing medical history, discussing aesthetic concerns, and establishing personalized treatment plans
• Perform medical aesthetic procedures as outlined in the patient's treatment plan and orders, including injection therapy
• Maintain detailed medical records documenting treatment procedures, medication history, and distributed educational materials

Client Consultation and Treatment

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic goals and recommend appropriate treatments
• Administer a variety of non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including injectables, facials, laser treatments, and non-invasive body services
• Ensure a comfortable and safe experience for clients throughout the treatment process, addressing any concerns or questions
• Provide potential wellness-based services such as medical weight loss and hormone replacement treatments

Marketing and Social Media Assistance

• Support the practice in generating new clients
• Assist with internal and external marketing support, including business-to-business outreach
• Uphold social media standards set by the practice and comply with the Empower Aesthetics Social Media Policy
• Collect video and photos for social media content and maintain a regular posting schedule to promote the practice and marketing specials

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control, universal precautions, and safety protocols within the treatment area
• Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with regulations
• Comply with HIPAA policies and remain current on compliance trainings
• Hold an active license as required by the role and maintain the license through completing necessary continuing education requirements

Professional Development and Collaboration

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, products, and techniques related to injectables and aesthetics
• Collaborate with team members, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive and integrated client care
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and maintain licensure

Required Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Prior training and experience with Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers, consultations, and GFEs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Exceptional communication skills with clients and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
• Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Empathetic approach towards patient needs and concerns

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of dermatology and skincare treatment

Travel Requirements

• Local travel between Newport and Wakefield locations

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods in a stationary position; must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
• Occasional movement about the office to access equipment
• Use of hands and fingers to operate computers and office machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and computer printers
• May need to stoop and kneel to access files or other equipment
• Ability to move, transport, position, or lift boxes weighing up to twenty pounds across the office
