Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Visiting Physician Practice Atlantic County is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. You will conduct detailed patient assessments and physical exams, manage wellness visits and acute/chronic disease cases, order and interpret diagnostic and lab results, and prescribe both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. You will collaborate with other providers and work with a patient population that includes Medicare-eligible individuals.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete detailed patient assessments and physical exams
• Conduct wellness exams and sick visits
• Evaluate and manage common and acute chronic diseases
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and lab results
• Refer and collaborate with other providers
• Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in the State of New Jersey
• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• Current DEA/CDS registration
• Computer literacy and EMR proficiency
• Willingness and ability to work independently
• Ability to travel within the region

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Medicare-eligible patients
• Bilingual capabilities
